Where to Eat in France

Eating is core to survival in any country you visit. It would be a shame to go to France and not be able to take advantage of the many fabulous eating establishments it has to offer. However, you need to learn French now to know just which options will suit your needs and budget at any given moment. For example, if you want to eat something on the go, then you would want to stop at a snack-bar or libre-service kiosk. For an informal lunch, choose a café or brasserie. It is only when you want a more formal meal that you would stop in a restaurant or perhaps an auberge.
