Looking For Parenting Help

I find myself always searching for parenting tips. Usually I am successful, because parenting advice is everywhere. It’s on the Internet, in the newspaper, on TV, it’s offered unsolicited from passing ladies on the street. The one thing that strikes me about all this advice is that it’s very hit and miss. What works in parenting completely depends on the child and the parent, and we are all individuals. Once in a while I stumble upon an idea that will work for us, and that’s great, but I never assume that there’s anything wrong with me if a particular piece of advice just seems impossible to implement or unlikely to work.
