Why I found it hard to be friends with anyone, why I always hated almost everything. But now I know. I just hope that one day I will become better and be cured :(

    Actually, both men …
Actually, both men AND women can be abusers. It is more common for men to be abusive towards others whereas women take it out on themselves (as a *generalization*), but there are women who are physically, emotionally, and sexually abusive.

    Guys for the most …
Guys for the most part become abusers as adults because their dads feel like their sons should be pushed down for their own good yet don’t feel the need to hurt their daughters. Meanwhile the girls are forced to deal with their brother(s) getting beaten and hurt while they hold it all inside, feeling guilty, loosing self-esteem, sometimes becoming depressed. Kinda sad, but it happens.

    Yes, my ex husband …
Yes, my ex husband did this to my children and when I stood up for them to stop the emotional abuse, he said I loved the kids more than him and always argued with me. He was brought up in an emotionally abusive family and thinks its OK to be brought up like that. I am now trying to help the children recover from this trauma – its hard, but I hope we are getting there.
