Working the Big Muscles
The best fat burning workouts all share the fact that they work your major muscle groups. There is a reason for this. When you work your big muscle groups, you burn the most calories because you are working more lean muscle mass.
That is a common mistake that many women tend to make in their workout. They will do lots of crunches, run on the treadmill, and then do things like bicep curls. The problem here is they work such small muscle groups that you really don’t burn many calories or get your muscle involved enough to burn calories for the long term.
Remember to work your big muscle groups and alternate them as much as possible and hit them up in different ways.
