THIS IS FOR ALL DRUG ABUSERS?

October 27, 2009 - 2:28 pm 4 Comments

I know its not my Business but just out of curiosity if you use drugs alot tell me what type of drug you are using and how your life is going while on it? its just to help me understand drugs a little bit better.

ONLY IF YOU ARE ACTUALLY DOING THEM! I WANT PERSONAL EXPERIENCES AND OPINIONS! thank you:)

I do TONS of Claritin, Benedryl and Rx meds for allergies as get them so badly. I even go in for two injections weekly to control my allergies. These are all drugs. And, to be quite honest, my living conditions have improved as a result.

Those are drugs. I may abuse them as I take them too often, but it helps.

Can coroners determine if somebody who died of a drug overdose had a history of drug use?

October 25, 2009 - 3:23 pm 5 Comments

When a person dies of a drug overdose, does that person leave behind something that can tell the coroner he/she had a history of drug abuse? There will be substances left in the body of a dead drug abuser, but how can you differentiate that between one-time use and days, weeks, possibly months of use? Can coroners tell if a drug abuser used once or excessively over days, weeks, months, or possibly years?

Yes they can tell prolonged use by the way organs look, blood work and hair tests.

What are the legal ramifications of peeing for someone elses drug test ?

October 23, 2009 - 5:27 pm 4 Comments

If a drug abuser had a job drug test, and he/she needed it but does not have clean pee. And a friend peed for them, what is the worst that could happen to that person ? The one who tried being a good friend, and peed for their druggie friend.

It depends on what the drug test is for. If the pee test is job related, obviously that person could lose their job if they work for the same company as the person being tested. When required to submit urine samples for analysis, a) refusing, or b) fradulently providing a false sample both carry the same penalty as testing positive. Refusal to provide a sample is considered a positive test. Aiding someone else to falsely test positive is considered fraud. It is a felony. If you are on parole or on probation, it could hurt you, otherwise it will just show up on your record. That is, if they press charges. I think your friend will get away with it, because unless someone says something, it will be hard to prove. They would have to test the urine sample for DNA which is not cheap. Then, they will have to order your friend to submit a sample to test his DNA to see if it matches the tested sample. They may ask, but he can say no. Then they would have to get a judge to sign an order for him to submit (which his refusal would be contempt). This is no simple task. There are a lot of criminals out there doing worse than peeing in someones cup. It would cost the company time and money to do something about it, like test the DNA to prove who’s it is. It is expensive and time consuming enough to do the urinalysis alone.

why do women put with cheaters, drug abusers, physical abuse? is it lack of self-esteem?

Well, I don’t know if physical abuse is ever an acceptable component of a relationship (depends on whether you are talking about a frustrated, half-hearted shove – the worst I’ve ever committed – or beating someone senseless, I guess…or something in between). But speaking as a former (functioning) alcoholic, not everyone that abuses chemicals is an utterly rotten person. Troubled? Yes. Compulsive? Yes. Decietful? Quite often. Weak? Probably. But there are always degrees. And to define a person as worthless or worse, impossible to love – because he or she suffers from a chemical dependency is at best sanctimonious and at worst bigoted.

Humans are multi faceted creatures, and we are all flawed. I’ll grant you that this is one flaw that quite often ends in disaster. But it’s not borne of malice toward the people the person suffering from it loves. It’s a whole heap more complicated than that

I regret terribly many of the things I did during the years of my difficultly. But both my wives found enough things good about me to stay with me for a number of years. And it wasn’t out of pity or misguided Florence Nightengale streaks. They said there was a lot in my behavior that made up for it. And they both say that to this day.

That said, drinking did contribute heavily to the failure of my second marriage, and left wounds in both of us that years have yet to heal. In fact, I don’t think I will ever heal from the loss of her and my daughter. Part of me died when she left, and it is dead forever, and it troubles me nearly every waking moment. Years of sobriety have done nothing to give me hope for a reconciliation. It hurt her too much the first time for her to ever risk it again. And it wouldn’t have hurt her as it did had she not loved me as much as she did.

I know you will get all the "out of fear" out of "weakness" out of "stupidity" type answers from others, so I gave that one.

By the way, History Writer. I thought your answer was very good. More than I care to admit, I guess. At least having for some time now considered my my past behavior through a sober mind’s eye.

Am I the only person sick of reading that Jeff Hardy is a drug abuser?

October 17, 2009 - 5:55 pm 5 Comments

In many answers to questions you read people say negative things about Jeff, mainly him being a drug abuser. We all have things in our past we would like to change. That is the past, he is a kick a** wrestler. Who doesn’t have skeletons? Am I the only one who feels this way?

I agree with you; he’s not a drug abuser. I don’t believe he ever was; I have the book about him and Matt. The book didn’t mention anything about that. Jeff Hardy is amazing; he’s my 2nd favorite wrestler. Taker’s my favorite(can’t forget about the Dead Man).
