TEFL Jobs: My Opinion
The acronym for Teaching English as a Foreign Language is made up of the initials TEFL. Entering the teaching profession can be especially rewarding for you if you have the ability to speak English plus, at least, one other language. Getting TEFL jobs are well worth doing. You are helping students broaden their horizons. Individuals who can speak more than one language, well, are extremely valuable across the globe. The advancement of technology has brought the world closer, via the common medium, that is the English language. Knowing other languages would also enjoy this benefit. This is where your services can come in handy. You can help teach English to students at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, in ages ranging from kindergarten to young adults, college students, working professionals and retirees.
Teaching Abroad: If you know any foreign language, say Chinese and you speak English, you can get a TEFL job and teach English to Chinese children. Also, if you are fluent in both English and Korean, you might want to reside in Korea and instruct Koreans in English. You get the idea. When you live in a foreign country and you’re teaching English to other people, it’s such a rewarding feeling. One desirable feature of a job like this one is getting to experience a culture that is not your own; you also get paid. To teach English as a foreign language, the ability to speak the language of the country in which you will teach is not always required.

Both working for the government and staying at home teaching immigrants here in the United States are viable TEFL paths.
