A 23 year old motocross rider, Charles, has become a heroin and alcohol abuser. Most likely it was to block out the memories of his troubled childhood, which included being molested by his father, for which he went to prison for and his mother becoming an alcoholic. It’s his half sister Lindsey who has gathered the family for one last attempt to help Charles.

Charles in living …
Charles in living in Corona, Ca as of July 23rd 2009. He is a very nice guy, likes to hang out at the Shell station off of Lincoln in the evenings.
He needs to get clean though, but who knows if he is ready for help. For him it must not be worth it, the reality of his life. He needs compassion and understanding, maybe that would turn him around. I hope he gets the strength to fight for a better reality in his life…..

So he did relapse? good! ive relapsed about 5-6-7 times and ALWAYS detoxed myself with lots of sweat puke phyisical exercise some alcohol and weed!!!

Ive met charles, hes a nice guy.. but he was only clean for a year. last time I saw him, he got stabbed. :[

I think you’re right. He was uncomfortable with his emotions being shown or the others showing their emotions so he didn’t want to show up.

Leif obviously is …
Leif obviously is afraid of showing his feelings or afraid of something in regards to Charles or the intervention. I could just tell by his actions at the end of Part 3. Hopefully he was able to come to terms with it and make it right w/ Charles in person.

so leif did not want to intervene in charles’ life. whatever, he probably saw it as seeley intervening in his life because seeley told him he needed help/closure over how he feels about charles being a heroin addict, which he doesn’t feel he does need. i understand that.

yeah he did relapse you douche… if you watch this episode on t.v. not youtube, it will say how many days he was sober… then it will say he relapsed… so don’t say else unless you’ve seen the updated ending dumb …

While the brother …
While the brother might seem that way, keep in mind that the brother was ALSO sexually abused. He has likely not dealt with that issue even though he didn’t become a drug addict or alcoholic. I think he does love his brother–he was just not strong enough to say some of the things he needed to say. Maybe at some point, the brothers will be close again. I’m glad that Charles is doing well. If you go to the A&E website, it has updates.
