How do I approach my sexual abusers mom?

I’ve been thinking about approaching the mother of the boy who sexually abused me. She was my school teacher and she had me baby-sit her son, who molested me. It has been about 10 years. I’ve gone to counseling and have been working on forgiving him. Do I dare contact her? What should I say to her?
Okay, since people are asking, I was older, but really small & only a few years older. And NO I couldn’t stop him, do you seriously think I could sit there and LET him do that, he was a BIG kid!

im confused, if you were babysitting the child, was he old enough to know what he was doing, and if he was, was there nothing you could do to stop him.

anyways, just pull her aside and explain what happened and make sure she understands the severity.

Try approaching her with a shotgun… just kidding. Try saying "I don’t blame you and I have forgiven your son".

hi. like another responder said – how old was this little punk at the time (10 years ago) ?? and how much older than him are you? if he was still young enough to have to be baby-sat, and i’m guessing you were older, he must have been some highly developed kid.. sexually and most importantly mentally. Try confronting him first, you’re older and prob heck of alot wiser now so at least he prob won’t try anything.. If that doesn’t give you the closure you’re looking for THEN contact his mother. She was your school teacher so she might still remember you but i’d try speaking with him first.
Hope you find whatever it is you’re looking for.=]
