    Let this serve as a reminder that the country needs people at all levels of government who pay attention to the rule of law. Mr. Marshall here is holding his colleagues’ feet to the fire and demanding that they obey the Virginia state constitution.

    If we’re lucky enough to get him into the US senate, let’s try to make sure that his successor in the Virginia legislature is similarly conscientious.
