Animal lovers – Given the chance what punishment would you give to an animal abuser?

Animal Cruelty is such a terrible thing, and I do at times feel the law doesnt really give much justice. What are your ideas?
I have a couple dogs that I found as strays and were abused, that if I could have 5 minutes with those f_ckers who had them before I found them, I would be the one in jail. They are great and loving animals that didn’t deserve the abuse they received. Just like people who abuse children, there is no place in the world for those people.

at least 5-10 years in jail and community service, maybe picking up dog crap at kennels.

human muzzle.
left out in the cold with little to no clothing.
less food
whipping
confined in a small area for a long time

Depending on the amount of animals they abused, and for how long..
I’d say 2-3 years in prison per animal. If it’s really bad, then maybe something worse.

They should be tied up and attacked by animals.

my dream would be to dispense justice with equal vigor as the abuser showed his victim – but twice the amount. example: beating an animal to near death? the abuser would know what the word ‘pain’ means and leaving him/her alive with forever scars? priceless!

I would do the same to the sick B*****D, as he or she done to the poor animal, plus electicute them, and then if they were still alive, I would throw them in a pit full of lions. And if the lions didnt finish them off, i would do it my self.

Psychiatric assessment and treatment, for one. (Animal abuse is a good "tell" of a sociopath)
Several months in a federal prison (No probation, no getting out on good behavior), a steep fine and a ban on owning any more pets in the future.

I would take a page out of the Michael Vick playbook and electrocute the abusers.
Animal abuse stirs up an anger in me like very few things can.

Depending on the severity of the abuse… I would demand that the same thing happen to them that they did to the animal.
Some animal abusers need to be taken out and shot though, in my opinion.
I would also require that there be a pet abuse list like there is a sex offenders list and all pet stores, shelters and breeders are given this list so its that much harder for the abuser to get another animal.
